Removing make-up is part of the first important step in our skin care routine, because even the smallest particles of dirt collect on our facial skin during the course of the day. We quickly grasped our face with our supposedly clean hands and make-up and bacteria also had to be removed at the end of the day. It's no secret: the first step to healthy skin is cleansing.
If you spontaneously think of terrycloth washcloths, paper towels or cotton pads, banish them in your mind to the darkest corner!
nu:ju® is a facial cleansing cloth that is quite something because it convinces on several levels.
The nu:ju® microfiber facial cleansing cloth consists of the high-tech fabric Evolon®. This belongs to a completely new generation of microfibers, also known as microfilaments and super-microfilaments.
The special thing about super microfilaments is their excellent skin compatibility, because they are up to 200 times finer than a human hair and even five to ten times finer than many other microfibres.
The secret of nu:ju® lies in its wonderfully smooth and lint-free surface - even under a microscope you wouldn't find any protruding microfiberhairs.
The advantages of nu:ju® are obvious:
- Super microfilaments make it much more robust and durable than conventional microfiber cloths.
- The nu:ju® microfiber facial cleansing cloth is extremely gentle on your skin and therefore very kind to the skin.
- The material is breathable and dries quickly.
- Evolon® is free of harmful substances and also suitable for babies and small children (Oeko-Tex certification Standard 100, Class 1).
Permanently antibacterial
Have you ever thought about how much garbage is produced by using paper towels, cotton pads and Co.? This is not exactly sustainable, because the many re-purchases burden the environment and your wallet.
nu:ju® puts a clever idea into practice: With the help of the silver ionisation in the facial cleansing cloth you achieve perfect hygiene so that it can be used for up to 7 days, depending on the degree of soiling. The silver ions prevent harmful germs and bacteria from settling and are extremely low in dosage. The silver ions used adhere firmly to the fibres and even if you can simply wash the cloth in the washing machine with a washing powder between 40°C - 95°C, the silver ions are still detectable even after 200 washes.
Very important: The antibacterial effect of silver ionization unfolds only in the material itself and not on your skin!
Cleanse, remove make-up & gently exfoliate
Application
Moisten the nu:ju® microfiber facial cleansing cloth well with warm water, wring it out slightly and press it on the face for a short time. Now wipe and dab over the face with light pressure from bottom to top.
Our eye area is particularly sensitive and likes it gently: place the strongly moistened cloth on the eye area and press it gently for at least 10 seconds. Then remove your eye make-up by lightly dabbing and gently wiping - similar to a blotting paper.
Depending on how much make-up you use, simply repeat the cleaning steps until the nu:ju® cloth remains clean.
You're in more of a hurry in the bathroom? Then simply use a small amount of coconut oil and the eye make-up will be removed in no time. Bye, bye Panda!
Of course, you can also combine the nu:ju® facial cleansing cloth with your favourite cleansing oil, gel or lotion. Use nu:ju® instead of your terrycloth washcloth or conventional cotton pads.
Care
After use, rinse the nu:ju® microfiber cleansing cloth briefly with warm water, if you like, also use a little liquid soap.
Of course you can also wash the nu:ju® facial cleansing cloth in the machine - you even should! Depending on the degree of soiling, but at the latest after 5-7 days, nu:ju® is ready for machine washing at up to 95 degrees. A commercially available detergent is perfectly sufficient, high-quality detergents clean even from 40 degrees. If possible, please wash without fabric softener, your skin and the environment will thank you!
In order to avoid discoloration in the nu:ju® cleansing cloth, please wash the cloth together only with colour-like laundry. If there should have been a discoloration, you may have to live with an optical impairment, but the cleaning performance of the make-up remover cloth is not impaired by this in any way.
By the way: The nu:ju® facial cleansing cloth is suitable for dryers!
nu:ju is the ideal facial cleansing cloth for me because I pay attention to naturalness and sustainability in my facial care. Conventional cleaning cloths were often too aggressive for my rather sensitive skin - especially around the nose and chin area. Effective and conjures up a smooth clean skin
A miracle thing, the glove. After only 5 uses so far, my skin is smooth and soft, my face is effectively cleansed and I don't need any additional products. Great product, thumbs up!
From the first impression and touch the cloths don't look as if they would really be suitable for removing make-up (somehow you compare them with the "fluffy" microfibre make-up remover cloths, which clean better and more thoroughly at the first impression), but honestly reminded me a little of chamois leather ;-)) .... but - in a nutshell: THEY'RE REALLY, REALLY GREAT J and the skin is not super dry after cleaning in contrast to the mentioned microfiber cloths, but simply clean and soft.
I am very satisfied with the products (a Sensitive facial cleansing cloth and a pillowcase). The Sensitive facial cleansing cloth feels really softer on the face and therefore more pleasant on the skin (I have rosacea and acne). The pillowcase also feels soft and comfortable and is made of a slightly thicker material. Especially with acne, I find the material very hygienic.
