The electricity cost comparison calculator gives you a quick overview of the average electricity costs for washing and drying the hairdresser towels you use in your salon every day. The amount of nu:ju Evolon® towels per wash cycle can be tripled compared to terry towels, the drying time of nu:ju towels in the tumble dryer can be reduced by half and the load can be increased by 1.5-2 times.
The comparative calculation is based on an electricity price of EUR 0.308 per kWh. You can change the electricity price in the calculator.
Since the differences in the power consumption of washing machines vary greatly and are also dependent on the actual user behaviour, the calculated power costs and savings are based on average values. Our calculation is based on a full load of the washing machine and a washing temperature of 60°C for each wash cycle.
The power consumption of tumble dryers varies greatly from one electrical appliance to another. The differences in electricity costs are correspondingly large. Here, too, we had to resort to averages. As a basis for calculation, we have opted for tumble dryers with a capacity of 6 kg wet laundry.
