I am Kristin Glatzeder, managing director in 2nd generation of P. Glatzeder GmbH, the company behind nu:ju. The company was founded 40 years ago by my parents Ruth and Peter Glatzeder in Detmold. In the course of time, P. Glatzeder GmbH has developed into one of the leading ready-to-wear clothing companies and wholesalers for technical textiles. At two locations in Germany, together with 80 employees, we process nonwovens for international customers from a wide range of industries.
Since puberty I have been suffering from my skin condition - extremely sensitive combination skin. My skin reacts to many ingredients in cleansing and care products with redness, inflammation, pimples and pustules. During a particularly bad phase, I had to do without care products completely. Diagnosis: rosacea.
As you know, necessity is the mother of invention - so I was looking for a cleaning and care routine that was gentle, simple, time- and cost-saving. And most importantly, it shouldn't irritate my skin. By chance I found what I was looking for in Evolon®, a revolutionary microfibre. Since aggressive surfactants and fragrances are responsible for my poor skin condition in cleaning products, I had the idea to use the cloth for make-up removal - and only the cloth. Finally I had found the perfect solution: Removal of make-up, cleaning and gentle peeling in one product. Since I use the make-up remover, my skin condition has clearly improved - noticeably smoother and free of redness and irritation.
And what is special about nu:ju is that all products are developed, manufactured and packaged in France and Germany in strict compliance with the applicable environmental and occupational safety laws.
